Homestyle Chicken Gravy

Give your taste buds happiness of chicken. Enjoy chicken curry. Quick and Simple recipe that can be easily made at home. Easy blends with rice or chapati. Ingredients - Chicken, Onions, Bay Leaf, Curd, Ginger Garlic Paste, Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder, Black Pepper, Garam Masala, Oil, Salt, Turmeric!! Steps - First Marinate Chicken Take chicken, add salt, turmeric and curd. Keep aside for approx 40mins. This process softens the chicken and helps it to cook properly. Masala Paste - Take all powdered spices as per ingredients. Add little warm water and mix well. This ensures chicken does not burn when masala is added to chicken gravy. Chicken Curry Preparation - Heat the pan and Add Mustard oil. Add chopped onions and stir In the middle add bay leaves and ginger garlic paste. This prevents bay leaf to burn. Keep frying onions. Add salt and turmeric. Onions get fried properly after 10mins. Ensure the flame is set to low. Add marinated chicken. Mix Well, Cover and cook, stir in between. Repeat this process for 15mins so that chicken gets soften. Add masala paste and little water(4tbsp). Mix Well. Cover and cook, stir in between. Repeat this process for 20mins. Now you can see masala leaves oil. This ensure masala is cooked properly. Check chicken, you should be able to cut it in between. Add a cup of water and bring it to boil. Let it boil and thicken for 10mins. Tadaaa...Enjoy your chicken curry!!
