Gobhi Do Pyaza

Yet another simple veggie for guests at home or to enjoy an happening Sunday......

Ingredients
Oil 
Cauliflower - 2 cups ( cut into big size)
Green Peas - 1 cup
Onions - 2 ( cut in big size)
Garlic - 8 - 9 
Red Chili - 3
Green Chili - 2
Tomato - 2
Indian bay leaf - 2
Garam Masala Powder - 1 and half table spoon
Turmeric Powder - 1 table spoon
Salt - As per taste 

Go for Everest Sabji Masala or make a mixture of Cumin/Geera Powder(1 table spoon), Coriander/Dhaniya Powder(1 table spoon), Black Pepper Kali Mirch  Powder (Half table spoon).

Coriander Leaves for Garnishing - 

Process - 
Boil cauliflower with water and salt. Cauliflower usually has some small insects which gets dead when they are boiled. So its very much necessary to boil them. 

Also, if you are using frozen peas do put them in hot water for 5 - 10 minutes.

Make a paste of tomato, green chili and garlic and keep aside.
Take a frying pan. Upon heating add oil.  Fry cauliflower till it is 50% cooked. After that take them out and keep aside.

In same pan, add some little oil, Indian bay leaf and red chili. 

Then add Onions and fry until golden brown. Add Cauliflower and green peas and cook for 10 to 15 minutes by placing the frying pan lid.

Add salt and turmeric powder and cook for 5 more minutes.

Then add paste out of tomato, garlic and green chili. Cook for 10 minutes. Keep a check that the food does not gets stick to the pan.

Then add garam masala and sabji masala/ mixture of dhaniya, kali mirch and jeera. Fry until oil starts separating from the pan. There is the time when flavor starts coming in your food.

Add 2 cups of water and let it boil with all the ingredients. Let it get thicken as per the taste like by you and your family. 

Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves. Taddaa .... Enjoy Happy Food :) :)
